Alliance Navy Vessels

The bulk of the Alliance Navy is divided into several primary fleets called 'Naval Strike Groups' (NSG). The role of a strike group is to maintain security of their assigned sector of space, and to remain active abroad for long periods of time. An NSG can be thought of in two major components, the operational craft, and the support craft.

Listed here are a number of vessel models currently deployed in the war against the Nautilids.

X-36
X-36 'Stalker'

A stealthy spec-ops variant of the F-36 Hunter. The Stalker bares all the capabilities of regular hunters, though in addition, benefits from low detection and signature emission, and adaptable 'plug'n'play' engine, shield, and weapons bays, for easily interchangable and upgradable components.

Spectre
X-24 'Spectre'

A stealthy spec-ops variant of the A-24 Ogre. Like the Stalker derivative of the F-36 Hunter, the Spectre features all of the Ogre's capabilities, but with the addition of low detection and dispersed signature emission, and easily interchangable and upgradable engine, shield, and weapons bays.

Alliance Corvette
Stealth Corvette

The ASX-05 'Malics' is the 5th prototype in the Sneak-Corvette development program, and the first to successfully marry all experimental weapons, defensive, propulsion, jump, navigation, detection, anti-detection, and communications systems to a field capable state.

The Malice has the following features in addition to that of the standard Corvette:

  • Power generation and replenishment system for all electronics, propulsion, jump drive, and weapon systems, capable of continuous field operation up to 14months at full capacity
  • Life support and storage capabilities to sustain a full crew of 9 for 3 months in the field, or six months with a resupply via fleet supply vessels.
  • Advanced communications for use at extreme ranges, and interface capabilities with the COM-SM-65 communications booster probe
Advanced 'Sneak' signature dispersion propulsion system.
  • Advanced 'Sneak' Preemptive-Ripple Jump drive system.
  • Interchangeable dorsal medium weapons turret, currently with quad source delivery cells (four guns), capable of use with most destructive, and non-destructive beam types.
  • Interchangeable belly medium weapons turret, currently with dual source delivery cells (two guns), capable of use with most destructive, and non-destructive beam types.
  • Four side mounted missile bays (2xPort, 2xStarboard), capable of launching most destructive, mass-destructive, and non-destructive missile types.
Alliance Destroyer
Destroyer

The direct strike and melee vessel of the Alliance Navy, primarily used for rapid counter-attacks in defence of the fleet, and for initiating attacks in coordination with lighter vessels. Features:

  • 1 Primary weapon
  • 2 Medium weapons
  • 6 Light weapons/Countermeasure systems
  • Single shuttle bay
  • Medium armor
  • Medium shields
  • Probe bay for all Probe types
Human Transport
Supply Vessel

Used for resupply and repair of Alliance capital ships, and are the general life force of an NSG. Supply vessels routinely shuttle back and forth between Alliance space and the Strike Group’s location so as to allow the NSG to stay abroad for longer periods. This requires them to be capable of deploying a jump gate module.

Features:
  • Dual shuttle launch bay
  • 2 Light weapons/Countermeasure systems
  • Jump gate module
  • Light armor
  • Medium shields
